To provide modern and efficient translation services, this year TranslatePRO representatives once again took part in the Across LSP Day, the annual conference organised by Across Systems GmbH, which took place in Cologne, Germany, on March 7, 2018.

The conference drew translation service providers from many countries — agency and company managers, marketing and IT specialists, who work with Across software on a day-to-day basis. This was an excellent opportunity to hear, all in one place, engaging lectures by industry experts on how to streamline translation processes when working with the Across Language Server, technological updates and additions to software, computer-assisted translation, and risk management.

The session on technological solutions at the Across LSP Day earned the attendees’ acclaim. In the exhaustive presentation, we learned the latest information on the newest opportunities offered by Across software, the planned updates, improvements and software additions. These enhancements will be available for the Across Language Server users already with the new Across v7 version.

As TranslatePRO extensively co-operates with clients and partners from various countries, the exchange of experience and discussions with translation industry experts and software developers from other countries were among the most beneficial parts of the programme that helped to strengthen existing and establish new contacts through personal talks. Furthermore, it was particularly valuable to hear, in an informal setting, what conference participants think about the trends affecting clients’ needs, clients’ awareness of the opportunities offered by computer-assisted translation tools, etc.
