Just like in any other sector, technologies improve the efficiency of human labour in the translation sphere, too. Computer-assisted translation tools (CAT) make it possible to carry out translation and localisation tasks in a more professional, effective and cost-efficient way and to monitor projects more conveniently. This saves time, energy, and financial resources. With state-of-the-art translation tools, we use the relevant translation memory for all your texts and, if available, a termbase, which ensures quality and consistency throughout your texts.

In our daily work, we use several specialised translation tools:

  • Trados Studio, GroupShare server
  • Across subcontractors Edition
  • Transit NXT
  • memoQ
  • Passolo, etc.

For more convenient translation, especially on very large projects with several translators and editors working simultaneously, we use the Trados Groupshare server. This allows several specialists to access the termbase and translated material stored in the translation memory. In addition, the translation memory is automatically updated with new translations during the translation and editing process.

High quality is what clients want and what we have set as our first priority. No matter how professional and experienced our translators and editors are, sometimes inaccuracies, such as mixed up digits, double end punctuation, extra spaces, etc., sneak into translations, and they can be difficult to spot.

To check punctuation, terminology and translation consistency, among other things that affect translation quality, we use computerised quality assurance tools, such as Verifika, Xbench, etc. Particularly on large-scale projects, technological solutions substantially streamline quality control of the translated content.

In order to meet project deadlines and keep track of the project process, we use XTRF — a system developed for translation companies to manage projects and resources.
It allows detailed project supervision and project status monitoring, as well as provides information about the specialists involved, and information concerning the relevant project.

XTRF is a secure system designed in compliance with the standard ISO 9001:2008.
